Why we built this

Photographers don’t need another shortcut. They need a foundation.

We’ve spent years building a photography business we’re genuinely proud of, and an equal amount of time teaching other photographers how to do the same. Shoot Bigger started because we kept seeing the same thing: talented people stuck, not because they lacked skill, but because they lacked clarity, community, and access to the right guidance at the right moment.

So we built a place for that. And it’s free.

“Build a business you’ll still love years from now.”

What you get

Everything inside the Shoot Bigger community.

01

Direct access to us

Ask us anything about your work, your business, your creative direction, your pricing, your portfolio. We show up consistently and answer questions personally. No layers, no assistants. Just us.

02

Access to our class archive

Everything we’ve ever taught: editing techniques, posing, client experience, marketing, double exposure workflows, business systems. All of it is in the archive and available from day one.

03

Podcast deep dives

The Shoot Bigger podcast gives you the ideas. The community is where we go deeper: the worksheets, the extended conversations, the questions the episode didn’t have time to answer.

04

Templates and guides

Real, usable resources: pricing guides, client communication templates, workflow checklists, posing references, business frameworks. Built from what we actually use, not what sounds good in theory.

05

Early access to everything

Every course, workshop, in-person event, or resource we release: community members hear about it first and get access before anyone else. No exceptions.

06

A community that gets it

A place to ask hard questions, share your work, find encouragement, and grow alongside people who understand exactly what you’re going through. No judgment, no performance. Just honest growth.

Working with The Pinckards has truly been one of the most transformative mentorship experiences I’ve ever invested in. I feel more aligned, more organized, more confident in my shooting, and more excited about the future of my business than ever before.

Questions

A few things people ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. No trial period, no credit card, no catch. We made a deliberate decision to open the community to any photographer who wants in. The goal is to build something valuable together, not to monetize access to it.

What level of photographer is this for?

All levels. Whether you’re just starting out or have been shooting for a decade, the community has something for you. The class archive spans fundamentals to advanced workflows, and the discussions reflect the full range of experience in the room.

What kind of photography does this cover?

Our background is in wedding and elopement photography, so that’s where a lot of the context comes from, but the business, branding, editing, and creative principles apply across genres. Portrait photographers, commercial shooters, and documentary photographers all find value here.

How active are Dan and Laura in the community?

Very. This is the point. We built this specifically because we wanted a direct relationship with the photographers in it. We answer questions, give feedback, and show up consistently. Not through an assistant or a drip sequence.

What if I miss something?

Everything is recorded and added to the archive. The class vault is organized so you can find exactly what you need when you need it, not just when we happen to post it.

Is one-on-one mentorship available?

The community is group-based. One-on-one mentorship sessions with Dan and Laura are available separately for photographers who want more personal guidance. Community members get priority scheduling.

Ready to grow?

The community is free. The only thing it costs is showing up.

Join photographers from around the world who are doing the real work of building something they’re proud of.
